Watchman killed, jewellery stolen at Kalloopara Bhagavathy temple Mullapally: In a shocking incident at the Kalloopara Bhagavathy temple near Tiruvalla on Wednesday morning, a temple inmate was killed and the temple dome found stolen. Gopalakrishnan's body was found near the temple premises.  The thieves had tied up the watchman Chandrashekaran and then looted the dome. Chandrashekaran was found with his hands and legs tied and cloth stuffed inside his mouth. The theft was reported early morning at about 3.30 am. Police have begun a probe into the incident. Condemning the incident, the Hindu Aikya Vedi have called for a hartal in Mullapally taluq on Wednesday.
