Agencies to distribute applications for gas re-registration

Thiruvananthapuram: The application forms for re-registration of gas connections would be distributed through gas agencies. Consumers have to fill the applications and give it to the agencies. The district administration has made it clear that the procedure is not a tedious one and is only aimed in taking the statistics of consumers. More than one connection at homes would be canceled after this. The district administration is of the view that as there is lack of clarity over the number of consumers, gas distribution will get affected. The applications would be distributed from next month onwards. All the list of consumers would be kept at collectorate which is presently with the agencies.
