CPI(M) spreading false news against Janasree: Hassan

Kannur:Congress Spokesmen and Janasree Chairman M M Hassan today alleged that CPI(M) was spreading false news against Janasree Sustainable Development Mission to tarnish the image of the organisation.

Talking to newspersons after visiting the Janasree stall at the International Horti-Expo here, Mr Hassan alleged that CPI(M) had hijacked Kudumbasree mission and as they were afraid of other such missions growing in the state, they were spreading false news against Janasree.

Some media reports said that Hassan held maximum shares in Janasree, Mr Hassan said 'he had only Rs 50,000 shares out of shares of Rs five crore.

He said if it was proved that he held more shares than the said, he was ready to quit politics.

He also said Janasree Micro Finance was an NGO and Jansree Sustainable Development Mission a non-banking mission financial institution. So they were two different types of organisations, but the CPI(M) was trying to create an impression that both were same, he alleged. (UNI)
