Gold wroth Rs 4 crore looted from Thiruvananathapuram-Chennai express


Chennai: Gold wroth Rs 4 crore was looted from gold merchants who were traveling in Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Express. The gold was looted from Varadaram, Madan Singh and Jithendra Singh who were on their way to Chennai from Coimbatore. They are working with jewellery shop in Soaukarpeta, Chennai. And were looted between Tirupur and Erode. 
They started their journey from Chennai on September 21 from jewellery shop owned by Vindo Jain to Combatore. On Sunday night they boarded the Thiruvananthapuram- Chennai express. They kept the 13 kg gold worth Rs 4 crore under the seats after tying with chain. After some times when they examined the bags, the gold was not there and the chain was found destroyed. They gave compliant with railway police.
